Understanding GFSI’s ‘Race to the Top’ and G2B Agenda

This first webinar of the series will take the form of a town hall meeting, with the GFSI team answering your most pressing questions about its most ambitious programme yet – a ‘Race to the Top’ for food safety. This will also be the opportunity to understand GFSI’s G2B (Government-to-Business) activities, what is on the G2B agenda and why.

Whether or not you are involved in the G2B Meetings, this is your opportunity to get a refresher on the Global Food Safety Initiative, our public-private collaboration and how the latest developments can be used to advance your own strategic objectives.

“We all stand united for safe food for consumers everywhere.” GFSI Director Erica Sheward will open the webinar with a refresher on GFSI’s strategic objectives, how we work and how we are taking GFSI’s vast stakeholder ecosystem on this exciting journey.

Participants will learn more about the four features of the Race to the Top with GFSI’s Senior Technical Manager Marie-Claude Quentin, who will also update listeners on GFSI’s work around remote audits and how GFSI has been supporting the industry through the difficult year we’ve just faced.

Exciting changes are ahead for GFSI’s landmark capability building programme ‘Global Markets’ and Senior Manager Anne Gerardi will take the floor to unveil some of the next steps of this project. Anne also spearheads innovative public-private partnerships and leads the G2B workstreams, so you won’t want to miss her talk on what’s coming up next in these areas.

Register at this link to participate in the webinar, and add this hour with GFSI to your calendar. Be sure to bring your questions to the webinar, or send them to us in advance.
