GFSI Opens New Stakeholder Consultation for FSSC 22000 v6

FSSC 22000 Version 6 is undergoing the GFSI Benchmarking Process and is entering the stakeholder consultation phase today. The deadline for consultation responses is 24 May 2024.

About FSSC 22000 Version 6 

The FSSSC schemes are intended to support the consumer goods industry in implementing effective management systems, protecting their brands, and achieving food safety targets. The Foundation aims to help organisations contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). FSSC 22000 certification comprises three components: ISO 22000, the relevant PRP specification/s (ISO/TS standards and BSI PAS), and the FSSC Additional Requirements.

FSSC 22000 Version 6 was launched in April 2023.

This important step of the GFSI Benchmarking process ensures its transparency and robustness, inviting interested stakeholders to review and comment on the assessment carried out by GFSI and their independent Benchmark Leaders.
