GFSI Opens New Stakeholder Consultation for Freshcare

Freshcare Supply Chain Standard edition 2 July 2021, is undergoing the GFSI Benchmarking Process and is now entering the stakeholder consultation phase, starting on 17 October 2022.

The  Freshcare Supply Chain Standard has been developed to provide a food safety and quality management programme for businesses involved in fresh produce supply chain operations. Edition 2 of the Freshcare Supply Chain Standard (SC2) was released in 2021 is now seeking GFSI recognition against Benchmarking Requirements v2020 for the corresponding certification programme.

Why a stakeholder consultation

This important step of the GFSI Benchmarking Process ensures its transparency and robustness, inviting interested stakeholders to review and comment on the assessment carried out by GFSI and their independent Benchmark Leaders.
