The safety and wellbeing of our delegates and colleagues continues to be a top priority for The Consumer Goods Forum and the GFSI Conference 2020. As the situation in King County, Washington State, continues to develop, we fully understand the concerns raised by delegates and staff who attended the recent GFSI Conference in the Seattle area. We continue to work closely with our event agents and event venue to stay updated on the latest happenings and will continue to monitor the situation.
We remain vigilant and will follow the recommended procedures and protocols of national and local authorities to ensure the ongoing safety and wellbeing of our delegates and colleagues. Delegates and colleagues are also advised to follow guidelines set by the CDC and WHO on how to take preventative measures to reduce risk of catching the coronavirus: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/prevention-treatment.html or https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/advice-for-public.
If you do begin to show signs of a fever, cough and/or have difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow the directions of your local health authority.
