GFSI AusNZ

The GFSI Australia/New Zealand Local Group was founded in 2019. Today it is represented by food manufacturers, retailers and service providers seeking to take advantage of the strong agricultural base in both countries. The group focuses on representing GFSI objectives and initiatives with an emphasis on addressing local perspectives and priorities. The group is committed to promoting GFSI priorities and initiatives with an emphasis on growing the group and enhancing its engagement throughout the supply chain and with government.

The AusNZ Local Group focuses on three key areas:

Grow the group and enhance its engagement with national and state food safety regulators.

Focusing on analysis of allergen labelling and management in the region and the adequacy of available guidance and relevant standards

Working with GFSI on auditor consistency, performance and resources
