All PRBs that wish to achieve GFSI recognition must undergo the GFSI benchmarking process. When submitting a Professional Recognition Programme for recognition, PRBs must clarify the method for the recognition and ongoing oversight of the food safety Professional Recognition Programme.

With the Benchmarking Requirements for Public Recognition Bodies only launched in November 2021, we are currently awaiting the first applications.
